Visitors to Buffalo National River will soon find that almost all of the restrooms previously closed due to budget shortfalls will be opened as soon as possible and will remain open until mid-November, reflecting a return to normal operations. The park received additional funding to assist with this effort and we are pleased to be able to provide these important visitor services. Reopening in some areas will be delayed as park staff test water systems and complete maintenance to repair some vandalism damage. Once again, we would like to thank our many partners for assisting in cleaning last season and to our visitors for assuming the many responsibilities associated with caring for the park.
