NPS Photo The Tyler Bend and Buffalo Point Visitor Centers will be closed on Christmas Day, December 26, and January 1. Steel Creek will be closed for the winter. Seasonal staffing reduction also will create some additional closures at Buffalo Point. The Interpretive staff continue to provide programs and information during this season of the year, however, it is always best to call ahead to check hours of availability. Tyler Bend is 870/439-2502 and Buffalo Point is 870/440-4311. As always, we encourage you to enjoy and explore Buffalo National River during the winter months with our abundance of bald eagles, icicles, and absolute quiet, but watch your step!
