The Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site will celebrate it's 65th anniversary of the date of the Supreme Court decision on May 17, 2019. The site has began hosting different events to commemorate the decision to integrate our nation's public school. The series of events were kicked off by the completion of the Brown v. Board Mural Project: Legacy and Vision, a youth led community art engagement effort. On Wednesday August 15, 2018 there was a public dedication of the mural.
