Distance Learning

Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site can meet you virtually if you are unable to visit Topeka, KS. Using platforms such as Teams or Zoom, staff at Brown v. Board of Education NHS can talk with your students, staff, or organization to share the history of the monumental court case.

Things To Know

  • Distance learning programs are for all age groups and grade levels.
  • Requests for distance learning programs should be made at least 3 weeks in advance of the proposed date.
  • Microsoft Teams is the preferred digital platform, but we can us other platforms if you setup the meeting and share the link with the Ranger assigned to your group.

Requests For Distance Learning

Requests can be made by email, or by phone at 785-354-4273. If emailing or calling, the staff at Brown v. Board of Education NHP will need to know:
  • Date(s) of the program.
  • Time(s) of the program.
  • Age group or grade level of the participants.
  • Preferred digital platform for the program.
  • Include any special requests or need for accommodations.
A staff member will work with you to help accommodate your requests or propose other dates and times. Once confirmed, staff will send a link to the meeting location or requests a link from you.
