Oneida, Tennessee: Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area will celebrate the deeply rooted tradition of Decoration Day on the Cumberland Plateau with its fifth annual Cemetery Quest event. The event will take place beginning on May 3, starting at 9:00 AM (ET) at Bandy Creek Visitor Center, and take participants to different cemeteries located throughout the region in search of site-specific information.
Participants who successfully complete their cemetery quest by 4:00 PM (ET) on May 31, will earn a unique Cemetery Quest patch and 20 points toward the GO BIG 2025 Challenge. There will also be an online virtual experience for people who are unable to visit the cemeteries in person.
