Experience Your Big South Fork - “Once in a Blue Moon” Program on July 31

The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area will be hosting a "Once in a Blue Moon" special night sky program on Friday, July 31, at 8:00 p.m. (Eastern Time), at the Bandy Creek Visitor Center. Bring a friend or a youth group and explore the unique features of the full moon with park rangers and Paul Lewis from the University of Tennessee's Department of Physics and Astronomy.

Bring a blanket or chair for comfortable seating and a flashlight for this nighttime program. In the event of rain, the program will be moved indoors to the Interpretation and Education Building next to the Bandy Creek Visitor Center. For additional information, contact Christy Strand at [phone].
