In late September the National Park Service (NPS) will be issuing a prospectus soliciting for proposals in response to a business opportunity to operate overnight rustic lodging, food and beverage, retail and horse stabling service at Charit Creek Lodge within the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area located in Oneida, Tennessee. The term of the new concession contract will be for ten years. The prospectus will be posted on the internet at https://www.concessions.nps.gov by September 24. Interested persons may get a printed prospectus package by contacting Cherrie Brice, Commercial Services Specialist, Southeast Region, via email at Cherrie_Brice@nps.gov. No telephone requests for the prospectus will be honored. There is a printing cost recovery charge of $40 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $30 per copy if picked up in person.
