A vehicle containing the body of Gurnie Lee Watson, who had been reported missing last March, was discovered the evening of September 14, 2016, submerged in the water at the Big Creek Boat Launch, near Yahoo Falls. The body was recovered with the assistance of McCreary County Sheriff's Office, and Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources. An investigation is being conducted by the National Park Service and McCreary County Sheriff’s Office. No additional information is available at this time. |
