Contact: Christy Strand, (423) 569-9778 Contact: Christopher Derman In celebration of the National Park Service Centennial, Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area announced the winners of the second annual photography contest. An Art-in-the-Park reception was held over Labor Day weekend to announce the winners of the contest. The celebration featured refreshments and live bluegrass music by South Sycamore. The entrants for the Art-in-the-Park photography contest submitted photos in seven categories. The winners were announced at the September 3 event:
Superintendent Niki Stephanie Nicholas announced the kickoff for the third annual photography contest at the recent photo reception. The 2017 photo reception will be held Labor Day weekend on Saturday, September 2, 2017. The deadline for the photograph submissions will be on July 21, 2017. The winning photos can be found on display at Bandy Creek Visitor Center, located at 151 Stable Road, Oneida, Tennessee.
