Other events that will be taking place during the day are the ribbon cutting ceremonies for the official opening of the Kentucky Mountain Bike Trails at 10:00 a.m. EDT and the improved Proctor Ridge Trail at 1:00 p.m. EDT. National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest, single-day volunteer event in which eight federal agencies as well as other groups partner together to maintain and protect the environment.More information can be found at www.publiclandsday.org.
