Commercial Use Authorization Applications & Requirements

TO APPLY FOR A COMMERCIAL USE AUTHORIZATION

The following documents must be submitted through the Commercial Use Authorization site (https://cua.nps.gov/) as part of the application package between January 1 and February 28 of each year. Applications will be accepted after the open period but will have late fees applied. Applications received during the following periods will be subject to the late fee listed: March 1 through June 30—$100; July 1 through September 30—$200; October 1 through December 31—$300.

  1. Application
  2. Taxpayer Identification Number
  3. Include copies of business licensing
  4. Insurance coverage
  5. Non-refundable application fee of $350.00. More fees may apply if application is approved.
 

TO APPLY FOR A LIMITED-OPERATIONAL SERVICES OR ONE-TIME OPERATION AUTHORIZATION

A limited-operational services or one-time operation authorization would cover any business or service providers conducting short-term, low-frequency, or pilot activities that do not represent ongoing or recurring visitor services. The following documents must be submitted as part of the application package no later than 30 days prior to planned event.

  1. Application for limited-operational services OR application for one-time services
  2. Taxpayer Identification Number
  3. Include copies of business licensing
  4. Insurance coverage
  5. Non-refundable application fee of $50.00 . More fees may apply if application is approved. Fees may be paid online through Pay.Gov. Instructions are included with the application download.
 

TO APPLY FOR A SPECIAL EVENT AUTHORIZATION AS A CRAFT VENDOR

The following documents must be submitted as part of the application package.

  1. Craft Vendor Application
  2. Non-refundable application fee of $25.00. Fees may be paid online through Pay.Gov as instructed in the appication package.
 

TO APPLY FOR A SPECIAL EVENT AUTHORIZATION AS A FOOD VENDOR

The following documents must be submitted as part of the application package.

  1. Food Vendor Application and Temporary Food Event Application package
  2. Insurance coverage (only required for Food Vendor applications)
  3. Non-refundable application fee of $25.00. Fees may be paid online through Pay.Gov. Isntructions are included in the application package download.
NOTE: Food vendors will be required to have a current certification as a Food Manager that is accredited by ANSI and a permit from the Department of Health.
