Firearms Regulations

Federal law prohibits firearms within certain building facilities in in Big Cypress Preserve; those places are marked with signs at all public entrances.

As of February 22, 2010, federal law allows those who can legally possess firearms under applicable federal, state, and local laws, to carry authorized firearms within the national preserve under certain circumstances.
