Belmont-Paul Women's Equality National Monument is on Capitol Hill at the corner of Constitution Avenue and 2nd Street, NE, next to the Hart Senate Office Building. It is a free-standing, federal-style brick house surrounded by a black cast-iron fence.

The entrance for the museum and bookshop is on 2nd Street NE. Follow the entrance signs to the brick stairs and the wheelchair lift. The doors facing Constitution Avenue are not public entrances.

Parking

There is no designated parking area for the Belmont-Paul Women's Equality Monument. You can find street parking in the neighborhood east of the monument.

Please note that parking options are limited and street closures are common because of activity at the US Capitol nearby.

Public Transportation

There are two metro stations within a half-mile of the monument. Union Station (Red Line and Amtrak) is 0.4 miles away and the Capitol South Station (orange/blue/silver lines) is 0.6 miles away. See WMATA's website for more public transportation options.
