America the Beautiful Pass Series

America the Beautiful – The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes provide U.S. citizens and visitors an affordable and convenient way to access Federal recreational lands. Up to 100% of the Pass program's proceeds are used to improve and enhance visitor recreation services. Passes provide access to more than 2,000 recreation areas managed by five Federal agencies including the National Park Service. Annual Pass
Cost: $80.00 (plus processing fee for online or mail orders)
This pass is valid for 1 full year from the month of purchase and is available to anyone. The pass is used for entrance fees or standard amenity fees at participating federal recreational sites. The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and the pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas. Annual passes can be obtained in person or through the USGS Store.

 

Senior Annual Pass

Senior Annual Pass
Cost: $20.00 (plus processing fee for online or mail orders)
This pass is valid for 1 full year from the month of purchase and is available to US citizens or permanent residents 62 years and older. The pass is used for entrance fees or standard amenity fees at participating federal recreational sites. The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and the pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas. The Senior Annual Pass may provide a 50 percent discount on some expanded amenity fees such as camping, swimming, boat launch, and specialized interpretive services. Senior Annual Passes can be obtained in person or through the USGS Store.

 

Lifetime Senior Pass

Senior Lifetime Pass
Cost: $80.00 (plus processing fee for online or mail orders)
This pass is valid for the lifetime of the passholder and is available to US citizens or permanent residents 62 years and older. The pass is used for entrance fees or standard amenity fees at participating federal recreational sites. The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and the pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas. The Senior Annual Pass may provide a 50 percent discount on some expanded amenity fees such as camping, swimming, boat launch, and specialized interpretive services. Senior Lifetime Passes can be obtained in person or through the USGS Store.

 

Access Pass

Access Pass
Cost: FREE ($10 processing fee for online and mail orders)
This pass is valid for the lifetime of the pass holder and is available to US citizens or permanent residents that have been medically determined to have a permanent disability. The pass is used for entrance fees or standard amenity fees at participating federal recreational sites. The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and the pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas. The Access Pass may provide a 50 percent discount on some expanded amenity fees such as camping, swimming, boat launch, and specialized interpretive services. Access Passes can be obtained in person or through the USGS Store.

 

Annual Military Pass
Cost: FREE
This pass is valid for 1 full year from the month of issuance and is available to current U.S. Military personnel and their dependents who present proper military ID. The pass is used for entrance fees or standard amenity fees at participating federal recreational sites. The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and the pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas. Annual Military Passes must be obtained in person.

 

Every Kid Outdoors – 4^th Grade Annual Pass
Cost: FREE
This free pass is available to all US 4^th graders (including home-schooled and free-choice learners 10 years of age) and is valid for the duration of the 4th grade school year through the following summer (September - August). The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and the pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas. To obtain an Every Kid Outdoors Pass, a paper voucher must be printed from the Every Kid Outdoors website and presented in person at a participating federal recreation site. Digital versions (photographs, pdfs, etc.) of the voucher will not be accepted.

 

Volunteer Annual Pass
Cost: FREE
This pass is valid for 1 full year from the month of issuance and is available to any federal recreational lands volunteers who volunteer at least 250 hours. The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and the pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas. Volunteer Annual Passes are awarded by the Volunteer Coordinators at federal recreational lands.
