America the Beautiful – The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes provide U.S. citizens and visitors an affordable and convenient way to access Federal recreational lands. Up to 100% of the Pass program's proceeds are used to improve and enhance visitor recreation services. Passes provide access to more than 2,000 recreation areas managed by five Federal agencies including the National Park Service. Annual Military Pass Cost: FREE This pass is valid for 1 full year from the month of issuance and is available to current U.S. Military personnel and their dependents who present proper military ID. The pass is used for entrance fees or standard amenity fees at participating federal recreational sites. The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and the pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas. Annual Military Passes must be obtained in person.
Every Kid Outdoors – 4th Grade Annual Pass Cost: FREE This free pass is available to all US 4th graders (including home-schooled and free-choice learners 10 years of age) and is valid for the duration of the 4th grade school year through the following summer (September - August). The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and the pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas. To obtain an Every Kid Outdoors Pass, a paper voucher must be printed from the Every Kid Outdoors website and presented in person at a participating federal recreation site. Digital versions (photographs, pdfs, etc.) of the voucher will not be accepted.
Volunteer Annual Pass Cost: FREE This pass is valid for 1 full year from the month of issuance and is available to any federal recreational lands volunteers who volunteer at least 250 hours. The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and the pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas. Volunteer Annual Passes are awarded by the Volunteer Coordinators at federal recreational lands. |
