Free Extreme Weather Events Workshop
Thursday, December 7, 9:30 am–1:30 pm
Temescal Beach House (6500 Broadway, Oakland 94618)
Join the Bay Area Climate Literacy Impact Collaborative (BayCLIC) in the next installment of our Local Climate Science & Education Series. The workshop series convenes the Bay Area’s science and education communities to explore how they can work together towards climate literacy and action. In the upcoming workshop, Dig Deep into Extreme Events, educators and scientists are invited to come learn about current research on extreme climate and weather events in the region like droughts, wildfires, and flooding. We’ll also practice climate messaging techniques so you can be comfortable when talking with audiences of all ages.
For more information, visit bayCLIC.org or contact Maria Eller.
