Our Social Club gave another of their delightful hops last week.

J. M. Thacher is with is again, after a two weeks visit in the east.

J. S. West, formerly of The Republican but now dealer in real estate, was with us last week.

F. H. Binkelmann, a traveling salesman for A. J. Jordan’s cutlery house of St. Louis, was in the Post Monday.

Another dramatic performance came off Wednesday evening the 18th. under the management of Mrs. General Kantz.

These besutiful moon light nights are favorable for love-making and same of our young people are taking advantage of them.

A game of base ball between a Post nine and a nine from Valentine was played here Sunday. It ended 20 to 23 in favor of your boys. Our nine will play your nine in Valentine nest Sunday.
