90% of the Sun Will Be Covered By the Moon

Even though Valley Forge is not in the path of totality, seeing the solar eclipse will be a really cool experience! On Monday, April 8, 2024, between 2:08 PM and 4:34 PM, the moon will pass in front of the sun. The darkest point — the eclipse maximum — will occur at 3:23 PM with 90% of the sun covered by the moon. Don't miss it — the next solar eclipse won't be until 2044!
