Itching to get out on the Trail, but #ParkedAtHome? There are so many ways you can discover the stories of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail from your cozy chair! Here are a few ideas to get you started:

Add “Fridays with a Ranger” to your winter-must-watch list. In this series, our rangers explore a lots of topics; from crime and punishment on the Expedition to celebrating Christmas like the Corps of Discovery, we’ve got all the riveting Lewis and Clark content you need this winter!

Make a nature journal and binoculars, then explore your local area: Check out Ranger Baylea’s instructions for DIY nature journal and binoculars. Then, you can take a page from Lewis and Clark and go out and make and record observations around your neighborhood.

Earn Your Junior Ranger Badge at Home: We know it’s not the same as being sworn in by a ranger on-site, but our online Junior Ranger activities are fun, interactive way to learn more about the cultural and natural history along the Lewis and Clark Trail.
