Caitlin Smith has been playing the violin for 30 years and teaching for 20 years. She holds a Master of Music with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London and a Bachelor of Music with Honors from Brigham Young University. Caitlin has performed all over the world, from London's Royal Festival Hall to Beijing’s Poly Theater. In addition to being a performer, she is an active scholar and has presented her research on the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto at several musicological conferences worldwide and has been published in journals. Caitlin especially loves teaching and making violin fun for kids.
