Snavely Ford Trail

1.8 mile loop
The Snavely Ford Trail starts and ends at Auto Tour Stop 9. The trail follows Antietam Creek for much of its length, the location along the creek allows for great birding opportunities. The hike is mostly flat and shady except for one uphill climb at the end of the trail. The Snavely Ford used to cross Antietam Creek during the battle by Isaac Peace Rodman and his men is located on private property. There is a marker designating where the crossing took place.
