National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass SeriesAn America the Beautiful pass is your ticket to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites. Each pass covers entrance fees at national parks and national wildlife refuges as well as standard amenity fees at national forests and grasslands, and at lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation. A pass covers entrance and standard amenity fees for a driver and all passengers in a personal vehicle at per vehicle fee areas or up to four adults at sites that charge per person. Annual Pass - $80 This pass is available to everyone. Annual passes can be obtained in person at the park visitor center, or from the online USGS store. The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass is available to the general public and provides access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee for a year, beginning from the date of sale. The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas.This pass is non-transferable.
Annual Pass for U.S. Military - Free Current U.S. military members and dependents in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard as well as members of the Reserve and National Guard. Former U.S. Military are eligible, however their dependents are not. Gold Star Families are also eligible. Applicants must show a valid Common Access Card (CAC), military ID (Form 1173), Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC), Veteran ID Card, Veterans designation on a state-issued U.S. driver’s license or identification card. You can get these passes at the visitor center or online at the USGS store.
Interagency Lifetime Senior Pass: $80. Valid for life. This is a lifetime pass for U.S. Citizens or permanent residents, age 62 or over. This pass provides access to, and the use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee*. This pass admits the pass holder and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle areas and pass holder plus 3 adults at per person fee areas. This pass may be obtained in person at the visitor center or online at the USGS store.
Interagency Annual Senior Pass: $20. Valid for one year. This is an annual pass for U.S. Citizens or permanent residents, age 62 or over. This pass provides access to, and the use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee. This pass admits the pass holder and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle areas and pass holder plus 3 adults at per person fee areas. The pass is available in person at the visitor center or online at the USGS store.
Interagency Access Pass: Free. Valid for life. This is a lifetime pass for U.S. Citizens or permanent resident with permanent disabilities. Documentation is required to obtain the pass. Acceptable documentation includes: statement by licensed physician; document issued by a Federal agency such as the Veteran's Administration, Social Security Disability Income or Supplemental Security Income; or document issued by a state agency. This pass provides access to, and use of Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee*. The pass admits the holder and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle areas and the pass holder plus 3 adults at per person fee areas. You may get the pass in person at the visitor center or online at the USGS store.
*Does not cover special use fees such as cave tours, bus transportation, guided tours, etc., there are some NPS units which can only be entered upon payments of such use fees. *Admits holder, spouse, children, and parents where entry is made by means other than private noncommercial vehicle or commercial tour vehicle.
