September 23rd and 24th, 2023

Orientation Talks - Overview of the Maryland Campaign. Meet at the visitor center for this 30 minute program.
10:00 am and 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Music of the Civil War - Hear and learn about the music of the Civil War. Program held in the Dunker Church.
Ongoing, 10:00 am-1:00 pm

The Image of War - Learn about the wet plate photographic process that was used by Alexander Gardner to record the aftermath of the Battle of Antietam.
11:00 am and 2:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

The Struggle for Freedom - Learn about the battle's critical role in the nation's long struggle for Emancipation. Program held in the visitor center theater.
12:00 noon on Saturday and Sunday.

When Hell Came to Sharpsburg - Author Steven Cowie will discuss the impact of the aftermath of the Battle of Antietam on the community of Sharpsburg.
1:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Program held in the visitor center theater.
