Directions to the Mumma Farm

If you are using GPS, the physical address of the Mumma Farm is 5923 Mumma Lane, Sharpsburg, MD 21782.

Antietam National Battlefield is located on MD Route 65, ten miles south of Hagerstown,
Maryland. The easiest way to reach us is via 1-70 (Exit 29A-Maryland Rte. 65 south towards
Sharpsburg).

From southbound MD Rte. 65 make a left turn at the park entrance and drive past the park
Visitor Center. Immediately after passing the Dunker Church make a right turn onto
Smoketown Road. Make the next right onto Mumma Farm Lane.

As you crest the hill, the Mumma Farm Education Center, a large farmhouse with green shutters, will be right in front of you. Turn left onto the gravel drive and go straight past the sign that says "Authorized Vehicles Only" and park in the gravel parking area.
