Washington — The National Park Service invites the public to celebrate Independence Day at Anacostia Park, a vibrant community gathering space along the Anacostia River offering expansive, open-air views of Washington's July 4 fireworks.
The Anacostia Park display is a special addition to America's 250th birthday celebration in the nation's capital, offering festive waterfront viewing.
"Anacostia Park is one of Washington's most beloved community spaces," said Jessica Bowron, Comptroller, Exercising the Delegated Authority of the Director for NPS. "We're proud to welcome neighbors and visitors from across the region to share in this July 4 tradition along the river."

Cost: Free
The 25-minute fireworks display will be concurrent with the July 4th Salute to America fireworks on the National Mall.
Visitor Information
