The Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is the only federal holiday designated as a National Day of Service to encourage people to volunteer and give back. MLK Day is on January 15, 2024 and National Capital Parks – East (NACE) invites you to consider conducting a volunteer event within NACE for MLK Day!

  • Please fill out our Volunteer Event Interest Form if interested in hosting a volunteer event or would like to learn more about existing events.
  • Fill out the MLK Day Event Registration Form if you would like to register an event.
    • Further information regarding NPS paperwork and next steps will be sent to you after the form is submitted.
