National Park Service

African burial Ground National Monument benefits from the involvement of many individuals and organizations.

NPS Centennial - The National Park Service turns 100 on August 25, 2016, and everyone can take part in the celebration! The centennial will kick off a second century of stewardship of America's national parks and engaging communities through recreation, conservation, and historic preservation programs. We invite you to find your park and discover the national parks and programs in your own backyard!

Volunteer - There are many ways you can help care for your national parks, from one-time to reoccurring volunteer opportunities for youth, families, groups and individuals.

Work With Us - Do you enjoy being outside? Are you a history buff? Want your work to be lasting and meaningful? Looking for a career change to work alongside the most dedicated, passionate people you'll ever meet? Welcome to the National Park Service!
