A Walk Through Lincoln's Life

About the Program
This program is designed for grades K-8.
The purpose of this program is to offer students an opportunity to take a journey through the life of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States.
Interpreters in period dress stationed at different locations will give educational and fun, and interactive presentations about Lincoln's life, and life on the frontier.
What to Expect
Upon arrival, students are given a brief introduction to the history of the site. They will then be split into one class per group.
Groups will rotate through each of the different stations, with one group at a time per station.
The outdoor program consists of 6-8 living history stations; which are all wheelchair accessible.
Each station will last about fifteen minutes. The total program time to visit each station will be about two hours and fifteen minutes.
Curriculum-Based Living History
Take part in experiencing our Nation's history at Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park. Your student's can take a journey through the life of Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States through fun and interactive curriculum-based activities. Over 1,000 students annually take part in this exciting event and gain knowledge of United States, early Kentucky, and Presidential history.
