Tumacácori National Historical Park
Be A Junior Ranger

Become a Junior Ranger by completing the Junior Ranger Seek and Find!
Explore and learn about the Park while looking for the items and locations shown in the pictures. When you are finished, answer the questions that the park ranger or volunteer in the visitor center will ask you, and earn a Tumacácori Junior Ranger badge.

Our Junior Ranger Program offers young visitors and families a fun opportunity to explore the park. Different from programs you might find in other parks, ours is based on a photo "Seek and Find," in which visitors look for pictures and read about the history of Tumacácori.

FOR TEACHERS

The Junior Ranger Seek and Find also works well with small groups of up to ten students.  We recommend that the adult chaperone show the first card to the students and ask them to find it. Once found, read the associated text as a group. Continue this for each card. Upon completion, the chaperone can quiz the kids if he or she chooses.

Please note: due to the large number of students who visit the park, we cannot award certificates and badges to each student.
