Fees and Your Public Lands
Proceeds from individual entry fees, pass sales, and donations are used for conserving our national public lands. This revenue also helps maintain, develop, and improve visitor services and recreational opportunities.
Tonto National Monument
The entrance fee at Tonto National Monument is $3.00 per person. Children 15 years old and younger are free. All Interagency Pass are accepted. Passes are valid only when the person assigned to the card is present. A pass covers the fee for the pass holder plus three others, not including children. Tour Groups are charges the same fees as individuals, $3.00 per person 16 years of age and older. Individuals may use Interagency Passes.
For some activities at Tonto National Monument, a Special Use Permit is required. These activities include commercial filming or photography, commercial events, etc. Please follow the link to read more or contact us via phone or email.
School Groups may apply for a Fee Waver. This must be done in advance to your visit to Tonto. Please visit the Education page for more information.
Cost is $80.00 and is accepted at all National Park Service and other Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee, and is valid for one year from date of purchase.
Cost is $10.00 for a lifetime pass and is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. 62 years and over, and provides access to, and use of, federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee.
This is a free lifetime pass and is for U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities. Documentation is required to obtain the pass.
This pass is free and is accepted at National Park Service and other Ferderal recreation sites that may charge an Entrance or Standard Amedity Fee, and is valid for one year from date of issue. You must be currently serving active duty U.S. Military memeber or dependant of currently serving active duty U.S. Military member. Military ID required (CAC card, gold color dependent card) to obtain pass.
This is free and is for volunteers acquiring 250 service hours on a cumulative basis during a 12 month period. It provides access to and use of Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee for a year, beginning from the date of the award.
