Gasoline is not available within Theodore Roosevelt National Park. 

The nearest gas station to the South Unit is located at a convenience store in Medora.  Gas is also available along I-94 in Belfield, ND and Beach, ND.  Belfield is 15 miles east of Medora and Beach is 25 miles west of Medora.

The nearest gas station to the North Unit is in Watford City, ND, approximately 15 miles north on U.S. Hwy 85.
One of the largest deposits of petrified wood in the United Sttes is found in the park.
