    "Celebrating a Symbol" is a self-guided, curriculum-based program for students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. This program can be used as a short unit in its entirety OR a selection of these lessons can be used to help your students learn about the Statue of Liberty before, during, or after a visit (several can be used in the classroom even without a visit to Liberty Island).
