    This is a classroom based, free teacher led program. National Park Legacy Voyagers is designed for ninth through twelfth grade students so they can go on an exploration of National Park Sites and learn about National Parks. Lesson plans include reading, writing, community service, presenting activities. Activities focus on cultural and natural resources and reasons for national parks. Activities feature budgeting and planning activity.

    The Statue of Liberty is known around the world as a symbol of freedom, but she is even more! Knowing more about several individual symbols found on Lady Liberty can help to better understand her symbolism. Knowing more about the people behind her creation can help to better appreciate the artistry behind the statue. Knowing more about her interior framework can help to marvel at the engineering that has kept the Statue of Liberty standing strong for over 125 years.
