Healthy Parks, Healthy People (HPHP) is an international initiative and a regional collaboration of more than 40 park, health, and community agencies. Formed in the Bay Area in 2012, HPHP now includes representation from all nine counties. The Bay Area initiative aims to improve the health and well-being of all local residents – especially those with high health needs – through the regular use and enjoyment of parks and public lands.

The San Francisco Senior Center’s mission is to provide opportunities for people to improve the quality of their lives and to live and age well and independently in their homes and communities. Founded in 1947, the San Francisco Senior Center is the oldest nonprofit senior center in the nation, offering classes, workshops, fitness programs, nutritious lunches, and critical social services to more than 2,000 older adults and adults with disabilities.
