For public safety, Hyde Street Pier will be closed mid-pier Mondays - Thursdays from July 24 - August 20 during replacement of Eureka's mooring piles. There is no access to the historic ships. The visitor center, Maritime Museum & Aquatic Park are open. More »

SAN FRANCISCO - Join the excitement as the 24-foot, carbon/kevlar composite foam rowboat Bojangles is refitted for an epic journey across the North Atlantic. From March 1 to March 7, visit with British Ocean Rowers Mick Dawson and Andrew Morris as they ready their high-tech craft at San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park's Hyde Street Pier.

The Aquatic Park Bathhouse building, a Depression-era, Works Progress Administration (WPA) project, was completed in 1939. The art deco building includes tile mosaics of fish, marble floors that resemble a sea chart, and interior walls painted with murals depicting strange creatures of the deep. More...
