Visitor Centers

The Gilbert H. Grosvenor Visitor Center is open year round, seven days a week, with the exception of New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. 

Hours are 8:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. Central Standard Time. 

The Visitor Center includes a Museum Area, Video Room, and the Eastern National Bookstore as well as a drinking fountain and restrooms.
Pottery Sherd  

Did You Know?
Broken pieces of pottery are called "sherds". The National Park Service found over 13,000 pottery sherds at Russell Cave National Monument. Almost all types of pottery from the local region were found at this site. The pots were used for storage and cooking.
