1. When will the Visitor Center open?
Currently park staff are exploring the feasibility of building a Visitor Center with diplays of Rosie/Home Front stories and memorabilia within the historic Ford Assembly Building complex.
2. When will the museum open?
The park has been actively collecting stories and memorabilia from the World War II Home Front. Portions of this museum collection will someday be displayed in the visitor center in Richmond.
3. If I have made a donation to the museum collection, can I come to Richmond and see a display with my story now?
Since the Visitor Center has not been constructed, we don't have items from the collection on display. Due to the moving of our administrative and curatorial offices to a temporary location in downtown Richmond, we will not be able to grant access to the collection until 2010.
4. Does the park offer interpretive tours for large groups?
Tours are available for groups by appointment. Please call 510-232-5050 to make arrangements for a tour. Tours cannot be offered on Sundays or Mondays.
