The National Park Service has created a web based program to allow interested and motivated children to explore hundreds of National Park Sites throughout the United States from the comfort of their own home. That program is called Web Rangers and can be accessed by clicking on the link below.
Just a kid at heart?
Organ Pipe has a Desert Ranger Program for the not-so-junior ranger because we encourage kids of all ages to become engaged with the landscape. All that is required is a love of the Sonoran Desert and willingness to put in the time necessary to complete all of the activities. You can download a PDF version of the Desert Ranger Guide or pick one up in the visitor center.
Click on "Be a Junior Ranger" in the left column to read more about the junior ranger program.
Did You Know?
. . . That there are arches in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument? This particular arch can be found at the Arch Canyon stop on the Ajo Mountain Drive.
