Things To Know Before You Come

Plan ahead for your visit to the Park. 

Wear comfortable shoes if you plan on walking our trails.

During the Summer, remember to drink lots of water. 

The modern town of Ninety Six is located 2 miles north of the Park. A few fast food places & family restaurants are located in town.

Ninety Six National Historic Site is truly a special park. It was featured as the National Park Service's Park of the Week the week of October 4-10, 2004.

Did You Know?
Only 20% of musket balls fired during battle did any damage. The British Bayonet was considered the deadliest weapon of its time. It did so much damage soldiers were most likely to bleed to death. the 1781 Battle for Star Fort was one of the fiercest bayonet fights of the war.
