Join us at Montezuma Castle, though the American Conservation Experience (ACE) program. As an intern you will work directly with the park staff to provide park visitors with insight behind the amazing natural and cultural resources of both Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National monuments.

This opportunity is ideal for you, as an enthusiastic young professional with a deep interest in advancing your career goals in education, cultural and natural resources, interpretation, and outreach. Current Opportunity through the Arizona Conservation Corps (AZCC):

Under the mentorship of a NPS supervisor, the selected intern will be involved in a variety of tasks and projects in this position. The intern will create original interpretive programing focused on public education and natural and cultural resources, which may include formal talks and tours, table demonstrations, special events, and social media posts. The intern will support community outreach events and assist NPS staff with classroom visits, field trips and in creating a Junior Ranger program. The intern will help mitigate invasive species during field trips with partner schools that focus on ecology and restoration of riparian habitats. The intern will have opportunities to network, learn how to create a federal resume, engage in training opportunities, and shadow other NPS divisions including Law Enforcement, Administration, Maintenance, Natural Resources, Cultural Resources, and Visitor Services. The intern will serve as needed at Montezuma Well, Montezuma Castle, and Tuzigoot National Monuments.
