Suggestions for a Successful Field Trip
We want you and your students to have the most awesome, memorable and safe learning experience here at Montezuma Castle, Well and Tuzigoot National Monuments. Check out the documents below for help in making that happen!
Behavior outside the classroom is different, and after a bus ride students can get squirrel-y! Check out Rules and Guildlines for what's expected at the monuments.
Also look through these 12 Steps for the Best Field Trip Ever! You may already do them, but it's always good to have a checklist.
Teaching outdoors can open up all sorts of oportunites, though! Read through this great page that Shenadoah National Park staff put together on Teaching Out Of Doors.
And remember: have fun!
