Bookstore at Kīlauea Visitor CenterGiftshops at the Kīlauea Visitor Center and Jaggar Museum are operated by the non-profit Hawaiʻi Pacific Parks Association.  

Their website includes an online bookstore.

Proceeds from sales of books, maps, music, videos, and educational material directly benefit research, educational, and environmental programs in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park.

During the 1800's, vast quantities of fragrant sandalwood were the first major export of the Hawaiian Islands. The trade nearly caused the extinction of `iliahi or sandalwood (Santalum paniculatum).
