The public may visit the FDR Memorial 24 hours a day. However Rangers are on duty to answer questions from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 P.M. daily.

FDR and his wife Eleanor were not first cousins as some might think, but fifth cousins, once removed. They both shared the common ancestor, Nicholas Roosevelt, born in 1658. He was FDR’s great-great-great-great-grandfather and Eleanor’s great-great-great-great-great-grandfather.
