Fort Larned National Historic Site is located on Kansas Highway 156, six miles west of Larned, KS.  Admission to the site is free.

Explore the fort's buildings and grounds on guided or self-guided tours, watch living history demonstrations, interact with living history actors and park rangers, and experience the sights, sounds, and smells of the best-preserved fort from the Indian Wars period.  The Visitor Center features restrooms, drinking fountains, exhibits, a 10-minute A/V program, and a bookstore.
