Job Title: Slide Librarian

Description of Duties: Everglades National Park has a large collection of photographs stored as slides. These slides are used to produce signs, information brochures, and interpretive programs. The Slide Librarian will assist the Pine Island staff in managing and developing the slide collection. This will include scanning, cataloguing, filing, and organizing all park slides.
Benefits: The volunteer will receive training and experience in photo scanning, as well as slide arrangement and cataloging.
Goal/Outcome of Position: To organize and maintain slide collection in order to allow them to be utilized with ease.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Desired: This position requires someone who is detail-oriented and organized. The volunteer should be able to work independently.
