Value Engineering Change Proposal

Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Construction Management Representative (CMR), or Project Manager (PM)

• Review Value Engineering Change Proposal (VECP) for minimum information required in contract clause FAR 52.248-3 - Value Engineering-Construction (Federal Acquisition Regulation).
• When VECP has all required elements, notify and forward information to COR.
• If essential elements are missing from proposal, draft rejection letter for COR signature.
