Become a Geo-Ranger! Download a copy of the Geo-Ranger Manual (pdf) here, complete the activities and mail, or e-mail, the completed booklet back to Craters of the Moon. Upon completion, you will receive a free Craters of the Moon sticker from the other Rangers at Craters of the Moon.

Alan Shepard on the moon

In 1969 Apollo 14 astronauts Alan Shepard, Edgar Mitchell, Joe Engle and Eugene Cernan visited Craters of the Moon. They explored the lava landscape in order to learn the basics of volcanic geology in preparation for future trips to the moon.
