This panel displays when you click the Image Alt Text link in the Accessibility left pane. Use it to check that helpful text alternatives exist for each image on the current page.

The Alt Text view displays alternative text and indicates where it is missing, as shown above for the PDF icon.
Click an item in the left pane to highlihg the corresponding image and make any additions or corrections as needed. Note that this view does not show background images.
Administrators can require ALT text for all site images or objects. See Accessibility Properties in the Administrator's Reference
