Enabling Retrieval of Long Text

All CommonSpot content is saved in, and retrieved from, the content database. The Rich Text Editor allows contributors to save unusually large volumes of text in a single field, which can compromise performance and may result in CommonSpot truncating text from the bottom of a Rich Text Block. This data isn't lost, but is not fully retrieved from the database. To ensure that long text is not truncated upon retrieval from the database, go to the ColdFusion Administrator. Under CF Settings, find the section Long Text Retrieval Settings, shown below (may also be CLOB). Check the box labeled Enable retrieval of long text for each content database connection.
