Add Job Definition

Access this dialog from Scheduled Job Definitions to view or modify existing custom job definitions or to create new ones. This dialog displays with a blank XML field for importing new jobs.

Job definitions are XML documents defined with controls for displaying job options. Create new jobs by selecting the appropriate command API method and adding the appropriate arguments. See the Scheduled Jobs Overview. and the sample XML and README in commonspot/samples for more information.

Entering XML in this dialog and clicking Save uploads the job definition in CommonSpot, which takes care of all of the details of inserting the job in the ColdFusion scheduler and maintaining changes

The job becomes available for scheduling and management through the CommonSpot interface for Site, Server, or Customer Scheduled Jobs.
