 Learn all about City of Rocks National Reserve by talking with a ranger at the Visitor Center. Park employees work hard to protect and preserve the natural and historical features of the park.

Climbing Experience Program

Climbing Experience Program

The climbing experience program offers visitors an introduction to the experience of climbing outdoors in a supervised setting. Trained employees lead first-time climbers on fun easy routes to experience the Reserve's most popular recreation.

Children must be 10 or older, and accompanied by a paying adult.

 

 
 
 
Summer Day Camp

Summer Day Camp - June 19, 21, and 23

Discover park secrets through education and fun! The summer day camp, for children 7 to 11 years old,will be held 8:30 a.m. to noon on June 19th and June 21st and 8:30 am to 12:30 p.m. on June 23rd. Lunch will be provided on the third day. Activities will focus on cultural and natural history. Space is limited and reservations are required. Fee: $5.00
