Bonita Creek Trail is paved
The paved portion of the Bonita Creek Trail is the only fully accessible trail in the park.

Chiricahua National Monument is working to improve access so that everyone can experience this unique landscape.

Visitor Center

Open daily, the building and nearby restrooms are accessible. Doors do not have automatic door openers.

Camping at Bonita Canyon Campground

Picnicking at Chiricahua

Bonita Creek is an accessible picnic area with a hardened trail to a nearby accessible vault toilet. An accessible picnic table is available at the Massai Point picnic area near the parking lot.

Trails

The Bonita Creek Loop Trail (0.2 mi) and the area around the Faraway Ranch House is accessible. A portion of the Massai Point trail (0.1 mi) may be accessible with power assisted devices.

The remaining trails, the majority, are inaccessible to any type of wheeled device due to large steps, narrow passages, and significant elevation change.
